Tangiblee Enhances EMEA Response Time with New Data Center

Active Geo-Replication allows companies to maintain a continuously synchronized secondary database, alongside their primary database. This feature provides swift disaster recovery for individual databases during large-scale outages or regional catastrophes, thereby safeguarding your data. Additionally in the event of a primary database failure, the system can seamlessly switch over to the secondary database.

Until recently, Tangiblee exclusively operated out of one data center located in the western United States*. This setup adequately served our clientele when it was US-centric, but as we continued to expand our customer base into the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) market it necessitated an accommodation for the increased traffic originating from the region.

In response to this growing demand, our talented development team established the secondary data center, which was thoughtfully designed to cater to the increased traffic from EMEA users. EMEA users are now seamlessly redirected to the new data center where they experience increased response times.

This additional data center also provides Tangiblee with additional flexibility so that we may scale our offerings according to the region's needs.

Beyond the immediate performance enhancement, the supplementary data center offers Tangiblee greater flexibility to tailor our offerings to the specific needs of the region. We have and will continue to place a high priority on the speed and efficiency of our immersive commerce experiences, ensuring the highest performance for our clients’ e-commerce websites.

Tangiblee prioritizes the response time of our experience to ensure that it doesn’t hinder the user experience on our client’s e-commerce sites. We do and plan to continue prioritizing this to ensure our experience is operating at 100% across the globe.

Frequently Asked Qustions

No. Virtual try-on adds a visualization layer on top of a product; it doesn't replace accurate product data or existing imagery. In a quality-checked pipeline, the brand's existing product photo is actually the foundation the result is built from.

It places the brand's real 2D catalog photo of the item onto a hand, wrist, or ear from a reference photo, rather than generating a new image of the product from scratch. The item's proportions and details come from the actual product photo; the AI handles scale, angle, and blending onto the shopper's photo. This is different from older try-on technology, which mapped a manually built 3D or 2D asset onto the shopper using fixed geometric rules, and different from generic AI image generators, which typically synthesize the product rather than place a real photo of it.
