Tangiblee Launches Next-Generation Visual Commerce Solutions at Shoptalk

Tangiblee, a leading provider of Virtual Try-On (VTO) and immersive retail solutions, is set to unveil new product innovations at the upcoming Shoptalk Spring event at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, March 17-20. Since its inception, Tangiblee has refined its human-in-the-loop AI processes to deliver unparalleled quality across a wide variety of use cases, from product visualization to highly personalized interactive solutions. The company has gained significant traction among top global brands in jewelry and fashion, including Citizen WatchesDana Rebecca Design, and Watches of Switzerland Group (WOSG), to name a few.

While Tangiblee has offered enterprise VTO solutions since 2020, the company has expanded its try-on, sizing, and personalization capabilities in categories including Jewelry, Watches, Handbags, Luggage, Accessories, and Home Decor and Furnishings. At Shoptalk, Tangiblee will be unveiling its latest scalable 3D try-on solutions (VTO Clip for Watches) and the new Look Builder alongside a diverse array of product visualization content options.

“Although we have been following the excitement about new technologies like GenAI in our industry, it’s nothing new for us,” says Eliad Inbar, Tangiblee CEO. “We’ve been refining our human-in-the-loop processes for years, allowing us to sidestep the pitfalls others are now experiencing. The result is that we already deliver the industry’s most reliable product visualization and interactive e-commerce experiences at scale.”

To help retailers boost revenue, Tangiblee offers new integration options for e-commerce sites, such as “Embed” and Look Builder capabilities. “Embed” provides more flexible options for enterprise retailers to incorporate Tangiblee’s immersive experiences, reducing the number of clicks to purchase. Look Builders integrate with existing e-commerce site capabilities, including recommendation engines.

Top retail technology trends in 2024 and beyond include thoughtful incorporation of the latest AI technologies as well as practical AR and 3D experiences that help customers make online buying decisions. According to the Future of E-Commerce, “[...] experts predict worldwide retail e-commerce sales will climb from about $6 trillion to just over $8 trillion by 2026.”  With growth comes intense competition, so retailers selling online “will need to deliver exceptional, personalized customer experiences.”

Frequently Asked Qustions

No. Virtual try-on adds a visualization layer on top of a product; it doesn't replace accurate product data or existing imagery. In a quality-checked pipeline, the brand's existing product photo is actually the foundation the result is built from.

It places the brand's real 2D catalog photo of the item onto a hand, wrist, or ear from a reference photo, rather than generating a new image of the product from scratch. The item's proportions and details come from the actual product photo; the AI handles scale, angle, and blending onto the shopper's photo. This is different from older try-on technology, which mapped a manually built 3D or 2D asset onto the shopper using fixed geometric rules, and different from generic AI image generators, which typically synthesize the product rather than place a real photo of it.

We recommend supporting the launch with a dedicated email announcing the new feature, ideally featuring an animated GIF that demonstrates the experience in action and links to a category page with VTO-enabled products.

To build broader awareness, homepage visibility is also important. Banners or other prominent placements can help introduce the feature to more visitors and encourage trial.

We also suggest adding a short explanation of how the feature works. Even when the experience is simple, some shoppers may benefit from a little extra guidance before they feel comfortable using it.

Finally, we recommend promoting the new capability across social media and user-generated-style content so that more of your audience is exposed to it and encouraged to engage.
