Rules for Proper eCommerce Data Collection in Google Analytics

To ensure accurate eCommerce tracking and reporting in Google Analytics, the following conditions must be met:

• Google Analytics cookies are not blocked on the PDP and Thank You Page.
• The transaction is recorded within the same user session that began on the PDP.
• PDP events and TYP transactions are sent using the same GA Measurement ID.

In the Google Analytics Interface

1. The TransactionId dimension:
   • Has a non-empty value.
   • Is unique (not duplicated).
2. The ItemId dimension of each transaction has a non-empty value.
3. The ItemRevenue metric of each transaction is greater than 0.
