FAQs

Can I use my own models in the Tangiblee solution?

Yes, we have many clients who opt to use their own lifestyle models for both branding and consistency. Please review the requirements below for lifestyle model imagery based on product category.

To minimize the heavy lifting on the client-side, Tangiblee is also able to offer a variety of stock images that can be used within the Modal via ShutterStock and Adobe Stock. If you select to not provide your own models, your Account Manager will work with you to select stock images licensed by Tangiblee.

If you decide to provide your own lifestyle model imagery, your Account Manager will work with you in sharing those images via folder or via email.

Searching for Model Imagery:

  • Preferred Image quality is at a minimum 5000x5000px and 300DPI. Minimum is 3000 px for the smallest side.
  • Higher the pixel count, the better
  • Ideally images are slightly wider than height (Ratio = 1200 X 1050)
  • Planes of the specific area for the product are as flat as possible
  • Angle of model should match the angle of the product packshot found on product page (angled backpack should show on an angled back of model, front facing backpack should show on a flat un-angled back of model)
  • Photography should be front facing as best as possible
  • Focal points are clearly identifiable and not distorted to prevent blurriness around the product

Handbags:

  • Hand of the model should look as if holding a bag
  • A slight turn of the wrist or hand doesn’t allow for the item to be properly placed.
  • Placement should be centered as much as possible in the photo. Steer clear of photos where the placement point is in the top/bottom ⅓ of the photo.  This allows for optimal use of TNG’s zoom feature.

Backpacks:

  • Planes of the specific area (if placing backpack on model back) for the product are as flat as possible
  • The back of the model should match the angle of the backpack packshot found on product page (angled backpack should show on an angled back of model, front facing backpack should show on a flat un-angled back of model)
  • Placement should be centered as much as possible in the photo. Steer clear of photos where the placement point is in the top/bottom ⅓ of the photo.  This allows for optimal use of TNG’s zoom feature.

Luggage:

  • There should be a specific area on the ground to place luggage whereas the plane of the area matches the angle of the luggage product photo.
  • Front facing straight horizontal planes would be preferred.
  • Placement should be centered as much as possible in the photo. Steer clear of photos where the placement point is in the top/bottom ⅓ of the photo.  This allows for optimal use of TNG’s zoom feature.
  • There should be enough room in the picture to place either Carry On, Duffels or Large Checked baggage.

Bracelets & Watches:

  • Forearm of the model should be bare
  • A slight turn of the wrist or hand doesn’t allow for the item to be properly placed because it is 2 dimensional itself.
  • The focus field of the model’s arm is crucial. This prevents blurriness around the product.
  • Body part must be centered as much as possible in the photo. Steer clear of photos where the placement point is in the top/bottom ⅓ of the photo.  This allows for optimal use of TNG’s zoom feature.
  • Photos must have slight spacing between the body of model to allot for the space of the item and optimal placement.
  • Other bracelets/watches are easily removed from imagery by TNG team.

Earrings:

  • Images that show the same side of the face for each model are ideal. Moderation/new products will be added more efficiently if so.
  • Face angles are crucial for earring models. Side view images of the face are ideal.
  • Hair should be pulled back/tucked behind the ear.
  • Shadow and light needs to be consistent and even across the entirety of the model’s face.
  • The focus field of the model’s ear placement is crucial. This prevents blurriness around the product.
  • Other earrings are easily removed from imagery by TNG team.

Rings:

  • The plane of the hand image needs to be as flat as possible, as well as the fingers. Bent/folded fingers are not optimal unless all on the same plane.
  • Photos must have slight spacing between fingers to allot for the space of the item and optimal placement.
  • The focus field of the model’s hand placement is crucial. This prevents blurriness around the product.
  • Shadow, body hair, and light need to all be consistent and even; shades of light will not allow for  optimal shadowing or show realistically within TNG.
  • Other rings are easily removed from imagery by TNG team.

Pendants:

  • Model should have limited covering of their chest. Collars are permitted as long as they don’t obstruct the middle of the chest.
  • Front facing models are needed, as the pendants will lay in the middle of their chest.
  • The focus field of the model’s chest/neck is crucial. This prevents blurriness around the product.
  • Shadow and light needs to be consistent and even across the entirety of the model’s chest/neck.
